Independent power supply for your game camera
No matter how power-efficient a game camera is - after some time, replacing the batteries is unavoidable. If you want to get rid of this, you can connect your game camera to the mains with a power supply unit - but this is not possible in the wild.
For this purpose, we have designed the SECACAM solar panel, which allows you to operate your camera completely independent of the mains or batteries. Whether in your backyard or in the forest, with the solar panel you can ensure seamless and worry-free wildlife camera surveillance.
By day, the solar cells convert sunlight into electrical energy. In addition, a battery is built into the solar panel, which is charged by the sunlight, so that even at night a power supply is guaranteed.
Flexible attachment
With the included stand, the solar panel can be easily screwed to flat surfaces. The flexible arm then allows the photovoltaic panel to be oriented towards the sun. At the bottom and back of the solar panel are threads for tripod screws, so you can set up the device with common tripods. Use for example the camera mounts from our store.
Depending on the environment, the place where you put the game camera may not be the most suitable place to capture the solar energy with the solar panel. Therefore, the connection cable is 5 meters long, so you have great freedom to choose a sunny spot for the solar panel.
Functions also with other game cameras & devices
The SECACAM solar panel is not only suitable for the SECACAM game cameras. Any 12V terminal device with a suitable spar plug (outer diameter 4 mm + inner diameter 1.7 mm) can be operated with it - this concerns a large part of the game cameras available on the market.
Tip: To ensure a maximum secure energy supply, use the solar panel and equip the camera additionally with batteries. Thus, the game camera has a direct energy supply through the solar cells, for the night the battery of the solar panel and as a backup still the batteries.
Which solar panel is right for you?
We offer this Solarpanel Standard and the Solarpanel Premium. The Solarpanel Standard is designed for stationary use and reliably supplies your game camera with power in light-exposed locations such as in gardens or light forest.
The Solar Panel Premium, on the other hand, goes into charging mode even under heavily overcast skies and has more endurance thanks to its higher battery capacity. If you should use your game camera in extremely shady places like in the middle of dense forests, you play it safe with the Solar Panel Premium.
The Solar Panel Premium is thanks to numerous connection options and the higher capacity in addition to the game camera use also suitable for other uses. For example, it serves as a practical, recharging power bank for numerous electronic devices during camping vacations.
